1) Why would people of Benwick know you?
Most people know my mum, and so will probably know me. I used to do 4 paper rounds in the village, so saw most people then, I've been around everyone's house selling my squares in the competition in December. I've also grown up here, so most people would have met me at some point!
2) What is your earliest memory of Benwick?
This is where things are harder for me than the rest who have done the questions so far - I grew up here so my memories span over the past 18 years, I don't know what my first memory is really. I can remember the float we did for the Park, I remember planting trees with my mum and people in the Park. I can remember going to Benwick School, and making a big wall with the plastic blocks in Snoopy's room, then it getting demolished while I was
painting, I can even remember when thatroom was the library, before the School House became part of the school. I remember starting Beavers when it started back up years ago, and I can remember when Harold Coulson owned the place where Richard and Ellen Paice live now. and it being the mechanics, but also a little shop, that sold books or something, well I remember getting a book from it, and mum paying.
3) Favourite Band / Singer?
Pink Floyd. They rock, the ultimate band! Also really like all the indie music out these days, Artic Monkey's, Hoosiers, Jack Penate etc and Frank Turner really rocks.
4) Marmite: Love it or Hate It?
Its disgusting.
5) What do you like to do in your spare time?
Going out with my friends, drinking and generally messing around. Going to Gigs!!
6) What is the last book you read?
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, then I read the other 6 again
7) Favourite holiday destination?
New York is the only place I have been really... but that was seriously cool!
8) What is your favourite hobby?
Dunno really. Listening to music and going out and getting drunk? Possibly I dunno, I spend ages on the computer too.
9) What is your favourite thing about Benwick?
Its a small and relatively quiet village, there are some brilliant views, and its peaceful and "villagy", its safe, and I've never known anything different.
10) What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery?
A house in Cambridge so I can have a lay in every day!
11) What made you create the website?
Because I thought that Benwick needed a real informative website, which contained all the information people both from the village and further a field would find useful and interesting. I always liked www.benwick.com, however I thought that it lacked a lot of information and I decided that I could perhaps provide the site to house all which www.benwick.com missed.
12) Where is the worst place you have lived?
Only ever lived in Benwick.
13) If you had £500 to give to charity - who would you give it to and why?
I don't know, if you look at the major charities it would probably be Cancer Research UK, but I suppose it would be better to give directly to a cause, whatever I felt needed it most, such as someone who needed help in someway or ran up debts that they can't cope with.
14) What could you not live without and why?
Music - I live on it. I'm nearly always plugged into my phone, or listening on my computer, at gigs you name it.
15) Do you think Benwick has any major problems, if so what are they?
The village is full of people who want to work for the village, and improve it, they have unique ideas and great intentions, but don't always get along, which is a shame. It is rare that there are so many community minded people these days, and we seem to waste it on disputes over trivial matters I know not everyone can get on all the time, and people don't see eye to eye, I myself disagree with things others do - even my mum, but don't hold things over people, I get on with what we are doing.
Benwick is also loosing too many old buildings, I know its been said its stupid thing to worry about but its not, Benwick is an old village but the natural environment (roddon bed) means that we lost many of the oldest buildings. These remove character, and its character which is important in villages, we don't want Benwick looking generic like every town across the country, its obviously too late to bring back what is lost, but we should preserve what is left.
Benwick doesn't have enough amenities, we need a shop back, or something along those lines, we need more for the youth, more community events to ignite the whole community spirit flare in everyone. We also need more open space, places where these big community events can take place, where people respect and keep it in good condition. We need Benwick back to the glory it once held.
16) Tea or Coffee?
Tea, milk and two sugars please.
17) What annoys you most?
When people assume I have the same views as my mum, purely because most of what we believe is the same. Some people seem not to understand we are two different people and she hasn't influenced my choices as much as what many other parents do their children. I have disagreements with her over a number of things, but at the end of the day, a lot of what we believe in is most sensible beliefs anyway.
18) What was the last thing you bought?
Coca-Cola!!
19) What is your favorite Breakfast cereal?
I'd rather have a bowl of co-co pops
20) What would you like to be remembered for?
The perfect friend. I like to think people respect the fact that I make my decisions on what I want to do, and that I am always there for them when people need me most, and that my words of wisdom help them. I dunno I'm only 18 I haven't lived yet... I've not even grown up properly so...

Each month a different villager will have Twenty Questions asked to them.
I decided to do it myself for once, so here are my answers.
