I am the grand daughter of the Chair of the village hall committee [Pat Tickner], who is also a member of the Parish Plan and the Roddon’s Board and some other societies. I know a lot of people from around the village either because of school or just from seeing people from around the village.
2) What is your earliest memory of Benwick?
I think that the earliest memory I have is when the village use to hold fireworks down in the park, and then everyone would go to the pub. Them nights were great.
3) Marmite: Love it or Hate it?
I hate it! I think it tastes vile! Ewww...
4) What is your favorite band / singer?
I like lots of bands and singers at the moment, but I think that my favorite
one at the moment is Rhianna.
5) What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my spare time I train with my Martial Arts (whether I am competing,
training or maybe even grading).
6) What do you think would most improve Benwick?
I think that the thing that would most improve Benwick at the moment would
be for everyone in the village to get together more often and for the people
to work as one.
7) Favourite holiday destination?
Australia. I would love to go and see my family over there.
8) What is your favourite hobby?
World Tang Soo Do Association. My martial arts. I absolutely love it.
9) What is the best thing about Benwick?
I think that the best thing about Benwick is the scenery. In some places of
the village the views are amazing.
10) What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery?
Oh, that is tricky. For starters … I can’t buy a lottery ticket but if I did
then I would donate some of it to a charity I feel and take my friends out
on a major shopping spree.
11) Favourite place in Benwick?
My favourite place in Benwick would have to be the Riverside. The views are
stunning.
12) Where is the worst place you have lived?
To be honest I don’t know. I have lived for most of my life and I can’t
remember where other places I have lived. We temporarily moved to
Wimblington and I hated it because it was rather dirty.
13) If you had £500 to give to charity - who would you give it to and
why?
I would probably give it to the Cancer Research charity because I know
people, some not as personal as other, that have suffered and or died from
this condition.
14) What could you not live without and why?
I don’t think that I could live without my friends and family. They have
always been there for me and can always make me smile
15) Do you think Benwick has any major problems, if so what are they?
No I don’t really. I don’t think that Benwick has major problems.
16) Tea or Coffee?
Coffee. But only as long as it if very weak. I like caffeine.
17) What made you move to Benwick?
I don’t know. I think that it was because my parents wanted to be closer to
other members of our family.
18) What was the last thing you bought?
The last thing that I bought was jewellery. I love jewellery so I like to
buy lots of it.
19) List 5 things that annoy you?
Oh, I hate bullies. Mice. Rats. Being clever. And does my brother count?
20) What would you like to be remembered for?
I would like to be remembered for just being a good friend and a laugh. I
want to be known for being a good person and friendly to all.
