1) Why would people in Benwick know you?

I have lived here all my life so most people will have seen me around  and  for the last few years my partner has been  the Head of the local school.

2) What is your earliest memory of Benwick?

First day at Benwick School.

3) Marmite: Love it or Hate it?

Hate it

4) What is your favorite band / singer?

I like all types of music.

5) What do you like to do in your spare time?

Cooking and taking the motor cycle out for trips.

6) What do you think would most improve Benwick?

Benwick is a very friendly place to live; it would be nice to see more people at the various events held in the village.

7) Favourite holiday destination?

Padstow,

8) What is your favourite hobby?

I used to fly hot air balloons, but don’t get the time any more.

9) What made you get involved with the League of Gentlemen?  

I was one of the founder members. The idea is to raise funds for village organizations.

10) What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery?

Depends how much I won! You do not get much for £10

11) Favorite place in Benwick?

When it was kept clean and tidy the area between the two bridges.

12) Where is the worst place you have lived?

Has not been one I have always lived in Benwick

13) If you had £500 to give to charity - who would you give it to and why?

Macmillan cancer, they gave me great support when I had treatment for cancer.

14) What could you not live without and why?

My Family - they mean every thing to me.

15) Do you think Benwick has any major problems, if so what are they?

 Speeding  through the village.

16) Tea or Coffee?

Coffee.

17) What made you move to Benwick?

My parents, I was born here!

18) What was the last thing you bought?

Spare parts to rebuild the washing machine.

19) List 5 things that annoy you?

The cost of living, being late, dishonesty, state of the British roads. Some times the weather.

20) What would you like to be remembered for?

In Fen Talk  “a good old boy!”
