About The Website

 

The website was first launched in September 2007 to provide a one-stop website for the village of Benwick, where all information can be found at the click of a mouse. Since it’s launch, the website has grown and evolved, and undergone two major redevelopments. In under four years we have had over 7000 visitors, bringing in people from as far away as America and Australia.

On the site you will find pages on all the village groups, a vast collection of photographs and an extensive section for the Parish Council. The website has been developed to give you all the information you need, so if there is anything you think should be added, let me know!

I decided that the website was due for a makeover so had my web development company completely renovate the site, making it much more manageable and bringing in some fantastic new features.

About the Webmaster

My name is Adam Keppel-Garner, i’m 21 and currently at Manchester Metropolitan University studying Human Biology. As well as running this website I also produce the village magazine, the Benwick Bugle. And have co-written a book on the history of Benwick – Benwick Bygones- with Janet Fountain.
