Benwick comes under the Benwick Coates and Eastrea ward of Fenland, and we are represented by Pamela Potts and Ralph Butcher, who were elected to serve us at the elections in May 2007.
Fenland District Council are responsible for some of the street lights in the village; and they also deal with the refuse collection, as well as maintaining the Play Park and the cemetery where St. Mary's Church stood. Fenland also have the final say on planning applications.
