Benwick Genealogy - Graveyards

Benwick has 3 graveyards; the oldest on the site where once the Baptist Chapel stood; the earliest grave dates to 1827 and the most modern is 1963. The second cemetery is on the site where once St. Mary's church stood next to St. Marys' is the current graveyard; which is still the village burial ground. In 2007 it was extended to prepare for the future; since the space on the site was running out.
