Benwick Butteflies Preschool
Benwick Butterflies Pre-school Group was first established in 1974, and has since become registered for a maximum of 24 children of ages 2-6 years. Operating from Benwick Children’s Centre since 2004. The Children’s Centre is situated on the grounds of the primary school, and is a purpose built building comprising of a secure playroom and outside play area. The pre-school prides itself on having highly trained and friendly staff. Who are approachable by the children and their families, and make the pre-school a fun place for everyone who attends. Throughout the recent academic year the children presently attending Benwick Butterflies have enjoyed several organized activities in keeping with the theme of the terms.
Benwick Butterflies Playgroup
Playgroup for 2 to 5 year olds
Monday – Friday 9am – 11.30am (Term time)
We aim to help your child to mix and learn with children their own age/ability in a variety of different activities and to provide opportunities to explore and discover their environment. We offer a range of activities such as puzzles, water play, story time, arts and crafts, singing and much more. We have an outdoor play area where we engage the children to participate in small and large physical play.

Benwick Butterflies Parent, Baby & Toddler Group
Baby & Toddler Group
Mondays 1.30 pm – 3pm (Term time)
The group has a huge range of baby and toddler toys and encourages both inside and outside play. There is a planned craft/messy play activity every week for the older children attending the group. It is a great place for parents and children to interact and get to know each other. Tea/coffee available for adults and a drink and snack is provided for the children.

Benwick Butterflies Holiday Club
Holiday Club for 3 to 12 year olds
Monday to Friday 8am – 5.30pm (School holidays)
The club offers a huge range of inside and outside activities has a huge range of toys for all age groups and takes part in organised trips. The club has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere where the children and staff have as much fun as possible!
The costs are as follows:
£2 per hour
All Day : £17, with a reduced rate for each extra sibling of £2.
(for example 3 children = £45 (£17+£15+£13)
AM (8-12) or
PM (12-5:30) : £10
with a reduced rate for each extra sibling of £1.
