One of the main objectives of this website, is to raise money for the village, I hope to regularly arrange fundraising activities to raise money for all the different village groups, from The Village Hall to the School over time I will endeavour to help all the groups, charities and organisations which benefit the people of Benwick.
On this page you will find the details on all the different fundraisers which the website has organised, and how much I raised. If you have any fundraising Ideas but need help getting them off the ground - contact me and I will be glad to try and help make your ideas profitable realities.

Sponsored by Greenvale, the people of Benwick had a chance to win some excellent prizes, all they needed to do was purchase some squares for £1 on a grid to be in with a chance. The top prize was won by Doreen Guy - a brand new DAB Digital Radio. The grid of 300 squares wasn't completely filled, but going round the village and having it at the Christmas Bazaar meant that 238 squares were sold.
The first fundraiser organised was the Benwick Photography competition, in order to raise some funds for the Village Hall, while this was not as successful as I had hoped it still raised some good funds. It was sponsored by March Stationery & Print and Whitehall Plastics, the photos will be judged soon and winners announced at the Village Hall Tombola on December 14th.
