The cemetary in the High Street, was once the site of the Strict Baptist Chapel, which you can read about by visiting the old churches page. Since the chapel was demolished, the graveyard has gradually fallen in a worse state, becoming overgrown with weeds, the graves falling over, chipped, pealing you name it. It is an eyesore down the High Street, and that is why the BRA's want to get it sorted.
They are currently sorting out the details under which it will be maintained, and will then be able to look for funding to help sort it.
