Benwick Resident's Association
The Benwick Resident's Association, or BRAs as they are affectionately known, were officially formed in 2008, and were the product of Roddons taking over the council houses from Fenland District Council. The BRAs are one of the primary community groups, working for improvement for the whole village.
Since it's formation, the BRAs have set up a monthly luncheon club at the Five Alls, which has been hugely successful, they have ran a few tombolas, a Jumble Sale, and competitions. They also set up the Benwick Dickensian Market, which is now to be an annual event.
The BRA's meet every month, on the second Thursday, in the village hall. They are currently in the process of trying to get the maintenance of the Baptist Cemetery down the High Street, which has been an eyesore for years.
